REET Exam was earlier popular as RTET (Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test). Later organizing board changed its name to Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. This exam is being organized every year for Level 1 and Level 2. REET Level 1 is for primary teachers Class 1 to Class 5 whereas REET Level 2 exam is for upper primary teachers Class 6 to 8. 

Candidates are now waiting for the BSER REET 2024 Notification release. It is hard to say any confirm date of notification release. But as per the sources, recently the New Government is formed in the Rajasthan State and it may release the Rajasthan Teacher Vacancy Level 1 & 2 Notification tentatively in October month.

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination For Teachers Notification will be out soon. Candidates are seeking for the REET Exam Date 2024. Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan did not yet announce any official date of exam but it is anticipated that the exam will be organized in February month tentatively. 

Before the exam candidates must have to apply online for the Level 1 or Level 2 Exam as per their choice and eligibility. We will also update the confirmed dates of REET Paper soon in the upcoming days. Candidates who pass this exam will be appointed as 3rd Grade teachers in the Government schools of Rajasthan State. 

REET Eligibility Criteria Level 1 & 2 Exam 2024 

As we mentioned above on this page REET Notification will be issued soon in upcoming months. Candidates who are preparing for the exam must have to check the eligibility criteria through the official notification before applying for the job. 

If you find yourself eligible as per the official notification then only you should apply for it. Otherwise, board authorities will reject your application form if you do not full fill the eligibility criteria of it. Educational Qualification:

REET Level 1 Exam:  Candidate should have done Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

 OR

Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

REET level 2 Exam: Candidate should be Graduated or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduated or post-graduated with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduated with minimum 45% marks and passed or appeared in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- a year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- the year in B.A. /B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation or Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

REET Exam Age Limit 2024

To apply for the REET Level 1 and Level 2 exam candidates must have to fulfill the age limit criteria too. Here we have provided category wise age limit details below- 

REET Exam Pattern 2024 Level 1 & 2 Exam 

Level 1 Exam Pattern- Candidates who wish to apply for Level 1 Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5) Post must check the exam pattern too. There will be 5 subjects in the exam and total time will be 150 minutes. In this exam there will be no negative marking. 

Level 2 Exam Pattern- In the REET Level 2 Exam of Upper Primary Teacher Class 6 to 8 there will be total 4 sections. There will be total 150 questions of 150 marks. Exam time duration will be 150 minutes. There is no negative marking scheme in the exam.
